"New Customer" at Buy.com Question

Seems that every coupon for Buy.com comes with the tag line..."Offer available to new buy.com customers only."

What does Buy.com use to determine if you're a new customer? Credit card number? Address? Name? Anyone beat their system yet?

Sometimes it says that but will work anyways. I think they just use CC# and email.

It also is in your cookies(and cache). I tried SEVERAL times to reuse a coupon. I was only successful after:
1)creating a new email
2)clearing my cache
3)clearing out all my cookies
4)using a new CC#
The only thing that got me a bit nervous was I called to check the status of the order. And when the agent pulled up my account, she got royally confused. I think both sets showed up on her screen. But they sent both items out(so go figure).

You must have a new email address and a new CC #. The cookies checking was implemented recently like in May. It's still buggy though. I used a completely different machine once and it still got mad hehe.
