Don't know whether it is a good camera or not, but hey, for $39, can't fuss too much! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif Luckily, I got in on the Intel PC Camera deal, so I only paid about $11.00, but I know lots of people didn't, so...

Digimarc had a promo going on awhile back--if you signed up to take a survey a month (Hey, has anyone ever heard anything about a survey? I haven't!) you got a "free" pc camera. It was great, but it is over. Sorry!

Anyway, thanks a lot for what you found.

I think it is a nice deal!

Thank you

This seems pretty cool. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

I wish I too had gotten in on that deal for $11. I would have gotten the 3Com. Supposidly that one adjusts itself depending on the amount of lighting in the area to always get the best output. Plus it has like 10 foot USB cable.... man oh man....

i haven't heard anything from digimarc. although i haven't attempted to use the digimarc recognition software yet with wired magazine (which i do have a subscription to and which is why i got in on this deal before it was ever posted on the deal sites). right now my camera is hanging upside down from the corner of my living room ceiling. haha, webcams rock.
