cheap and good thats all I require. Looking for a text only printer and less money spent means more to a photo printer. I guess I'm trying to spend under $90 or so.

Why don't you just get one of the 600 series HP printers? Those are pretty cheap....decent too.

Was just looking at staples.com and there is a lexmark Z45 89.98 with a 20 dollar rebate. Hope that helps....

i just bought a epson c40 with a 10' usb cable for $30 after rebate

buy a used hp laserjet off ebay or half.com. they will print text like nobodies business, they cost very little, and the toner lasts almost forever.

The inkjet printers are nice, but you will end up paying more for ink than the printer itself.

you may also be able to find a cheap laser printer with some good rebates.

If you are going to go HP laserJet

I recomend them for printing very good quality and very quickly

HOWEVER DO NOT BUY A 5L!

I don't know if it is all the 5s or all the L or only the 5l but it takes multiple pages in while printing. That is how I got mine, my mom used it at her work and her boss got her a new one and said to trash this one. but before that a friend of mine was in the same scenerio at the library he worked at.
