Was that bumper sticked on a Honda Civic with a full-body kit, lots of stickers and a bi-plane wing? :heh:

I don't think that the people that live around where I took this picture would look too kindly at a Honda Civic with a full-body kit, lots of stickers and a bi-plane wing (trust me on this).

I think it's slander against the potatoe. Rice has made my butt plenty big. Hmmm... maybe I should sue the rice companies. :D

I happened to be in Williams, smack dab in the upper middle of California. It is a huge rice producing area (among other agricultural products like almonds, alfalfa, corn, wheat, cotton, etc)
And just a little known fact - who is the single largest consumer of rice in the United States?
Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser)

Good thing "rice" really does end with an "e", or he might have gotten that one wrong too... :P
Should we be honored, or amused that Mr. Quayle is among us?

My family goes up to the Shasta area every year around Memorial Day. This year we stayed in McCloud for over a week fishing and hiking around the area. I love to fish for trout, and it is one of my goals to catch/release and get a picture with every species of trout in California. So far I have pictures of Bull Trout, American River Steelhead, McCloud River Rainbow Trout, Eagle Lake Rainbow Trout, Gilbert Golden Trout, Little Kern River Trout, Brown Trout, Brook Trout and Donner Lake Mackinaw (my biggest ever - 22lbs). There's the only strain of native redband trout left in California that live in Sheepheaven Creek, at the headwaters of the McCloud river. There aren't many of them (they number only in the low 1000's) and catching one is my goal for next year or two.
Little known fact:
I grew up in a little town between Auburn and Grass Valley. I went to high school in Sacramento (commuted 90 miles roundtrip every day). If you know Williams, you would probably know where Auburn and Grass Valley are. G.V. and Williams are on the same highway after all (20). ;)

Well, Williams is a lot closer to home for me... Grass Valley is on the other side of the valley, and I don't go there very often. Though I do have friends that live there.
It is just weird that you know the area where I live... considering the fact that probably no one else on these boards does. :dodgy:
