Okay, first what do those envelopes in the first column of the threads represent?

Who/what determines your rank?

Where do you get/how do you make the custom smilies?

I still don't know who Passwird is and why he is such a phenomenon.

1. Dopey answered.

2. Number of posts determines the rank you have. OR, you can also be given a custom rank by GAM or Apex himself.

3. When you post, on the left hand side of the screen there are a bunch of smilies there in a little box. At the bottom of that box there is a link that says "get more" and that is where you get all the rest of the smilies that this board has.

4. He's just a pretty cool guy! :D And his face just gets photoshopped onto everything imaginable....:D

Anywho, I'll try to answer all your question as much as I can

the Enevlopes are just there as icons to tell you info...
I think A blue enevlope tells you that there are new post that you have not read. A red one means you have visited that thread already. or vise versa(don't quote me on this, I'm not sure) Anywho...a hole in the enevlope tells you, that you have posted in that thread already. A open enevlope tells you there are more than 15 or 20 (don't remember) post in that thread.

Next...the number of post determines what rank you get 1-50 ensign, 50-500 is something...and so on and so on...I don't remember them, sorry not much help here...but some people get custom ranks because the G|A? MOD's like them better that way...I guess

the custom smilies are in the G|A? smilies bank.. there is a link to them on the left side of where you post...where it says "get more" and click on that, and you'll see a plethera of smilies :)

Passwird is a Chinese guy that people like to photoshop his face onto many things! It's good times!!! hope I answered your questions...I think the FAQ section is good also! Have fun posting!!!

1) Custom smilies are made by typing two or three different keystrokes as the code. EX: " : + ) " = : ) = :)
EX: " : + D " = : D = :D

2) Passwird just is. You can't explain Passwird. You can't ask questions about him. He just is.

As a side note, you can also access the custom smilies by clicking on them on the left hand side of a Reply or Post Topic area of the G|A? Boards.
