I got a call from my arch-nemesis (head accountant and chief brown-noser) telling me she needed an email message restored (very important, you know). I asked her when she received this email and deleted it so I could restore the correct files. She spent 15 minutes saying "Well, I think I deleted it at the end of May, but maybe I got it in June, but at the end of June, but I have this letter from the 19th which is about when I got this email..." So she finally picks a set of dates. I find the backups and set up the restore and she calls me again: "You know what, now that I think about it, it wasn't an email I was looking for. It was a voice mail." :banghead:

anyway... it is quite funny to lose a voice mail and then think it was an email... *sigh* next thing u know she will come and say o it was snail mail and got shredded :heh:

why is she your arch-nemesis? She's technophobic, insists on using Lotus 1-2-3 (because she has 3 spreadsheets she can't be bothered to convert to Excel), and is the personification of evil. She's sucked up to our CEO so often and for so long, she could say the sky is green and he'd believe her. She also has ruined relationships with vendors because it's impossible to get her to pay any bills (which is probably why the CEO likes her -- he's like that too). All that, and she constantly asks me insane questions like "When can we use telekinesis to control our computers?" then blames me when we don't implement it.

just be paitent with her sometimes people (im not saying women) are very computer illterate and ask stupid serious questions

Ummm... no.

You are justified in naming her your arch-nemesis. She is so wrong it is not funny. Kudos on your self restraint in not telling her that she can not use telekinesis on the computer because it would require that she have a brain first.

If you need help hiding her body one day, give me a holler... I would consider it a public service.
