Went to class this morning.. thought it'd just be another uneventful day..

Before getting to class, bump into a friend, pretty cute might i add.. but anyways, stopped and talked for a lil bit.. she had a midterm today with a professor i had last semester.. turns out that he passed away over the weekend or the day before. He was my fav. teacher last semester. By far showed his love for the subject, taught it well, kept it exciting. You'll be missed Professor Paul Eyles.

My uncle passed away about 2-3 weeks ago. think he was in the hospital a lil before, and then they sent him home, gave him some medication. think he died of dehydration or something. never got to know him too well. :( Uncle, may you rest in peace.

My friend in LA's mother is in the hospital. Not sure exactly whats wrong, but its not going too well. But hopefully she'll pull out of it.

My friend's sister-in-law's mother, or was it aunt.. I forget.. went into a colma. Docs say chances are grim. Even if she wakes up, they say she'll be a vegetable. So funeral preparations are being made. :(

Of course there are other suckages, but when put into perspective, they pale in comparison. revil had a good idea of getting away from the keyboard a bit, and going out to explore life. I think more of us should do the same, and experience it... Experience it with friends and family.. Angry at someone? Talk it over, bring it to a resolution.. life is too short. cuz with a snap of a finger, a blink of an eye, tick of the clock, it can all be over. i hate it how it takes tragic events like these to remind me to wake up from this dreamland that i live in.

Regardless of whatever religion you may be, may ya keep 'em in your thoughts, in your prayers, or any other way? I'd really appreciate it. And take a step away from the online world, enjoy the fresh (if not polluted) air.

Yeah... that sux big time.

Well at least you had a chance for him to touch your life... hopefully his teachings will inspire you.

Indeed it did. He always seemed to set aside time for his students. He'd stay after class for half an hour just to chitchat about anything. His stories of when he worked for DEC, RJ Reynolds, and other companies were inspiring. And I'm lucky to have been one to hear his many stories. I'll be happy if I'm even half as successful in my life like he was in his.

And thanks peeps :) I really appreciate it.

As for the "real world".. Well, I'll let you choose the blue pill or the red pill.

Hey NutS sorry to hear that you're hitting rough times these days. Perhaps (insert diety here) is trying to tell you something. My guess is exactly what you already have stated here. Live your life to the fullest man and never take anything for granted. And maybe it's all for a reason as well, for you are spreading this great advice to your fellow posters. I think you speak the truth, and I will definitely remember that the next time I think life is so bad. Atleast I have all my family and friends around me and I am a semi healthy person. That means much more than having the greatest car, computer, or whatever other latest material thing that the media is pushing.

Stay strong bro.

Thanks :) Though I agree with you whole heartedly.. but merely having family and friends around I don't think cuts it. But being thankful for them being there, showing your appreciation, I think thats what more of us need to do. I know I don't know my family too well, and I'm ashamed of that. I've been trying hard to learn more, so that someday, I'll be able to pass on their legacy.

we all get touched by death one day or another, and what really sux is when it takes someone before their time.
i can only hope i am alive long enough to leave a lasting and good impression on any one person on this planet.
