so i'm starved, right? so i'm like...aight, i'll go to the store in a bit to get my grub on. after i check out g|a (gotta have priorities ;) )

in the meantime, some kids outside are playing some games and such. one of them thinks it would be pretty fun to play "ice cream man." so he's running around yelling "ice cream! who wants ice cream?!" ok, fine. ice cream sounds good, but i will not succumb. i can be strong, and just wait it out. he proceeds to yell this, while the other kids are saying "not me" and "nope" and stuff. nobody wanted his ice cream.

of course, being the diligent worker that he is, and the aspiring salesperson, he persists in his endeavors...pushing his wares on the neighborhood kids and making his presence known. the kids are not easily pressured, however. as value-minded consumers, i'd say they are doing their job, showing the sales guru that they aren't merely impulse-buying monkeys that are so fickle as to let a little bit of california heat get to them.

so who wants ice cream? i do! dammit...i had to pick up some dreyers while at ralphs :mad:

i have no doubt this kid will be calling me in about 14 years, when i'm sitting at the dinner table. i'll be ready for him, tho :dodgy:

Ooooh!! I still have not tried Coldstone...I keep refusing to get any when I go with my friends. But I need to try it, I have a 2 for one coupon, too.

of course, when you have an ice cream company, it helps to name your product closely to another ice cream company's product

I just bought the yummiest ice cream cake for my daughters birthday. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream on top of a choc. cookie layer that was covered in caramel. The whole thing was topped with different candy bars crushed up and whipped cream. Delicious!

Dunno if anyone else out there is from MA, but here in the Northampton area we have Herrell's and Barts. You just haven't lived until you've had french toast flavored ice cream or an ice cream sandwich made fresh from pound cake :munch: :drool:

Or in the case of Hersheys Ice Cream... Not to be confused with Hersheys chocolate company. I always thought that was interesting. They have nearly the same fonts and everything...:rolleyes:
