God is good.
The Director of my department just informed me that because of my company's temporary employee rule for Administrative Asisstants would only allow me to stay for 90 days (which I am approaching), he is upgrading my position to Coordinator for Online Marketing.
I have had conversations here with one of the managers and with my agency about not wanting to be "just an assistant" but "more than an assistant" because I really want to be involved with the department. I also addressed some concerns about what my functions are and what my priorities should be.
The manager said he would have a talk with the director and well... When I walked away, I had to hold the tears back...God is so good to me. After bringing me through everything I went through this year, he still keeps on working on my behalf. I'm not nearly as faithful to Him as He is to me.
The details aren't in yet, but I'm praying for a raise to go with that "upgrade"!!!

There was a Christian from India (who was a real servant of God) named Bakht Singh who would often proclaim, "God is TOO good!" About the only thing I remember him saying more often was, "Let's pray." :)

Well, from the Authorized Version (that's the King James Version, for those that might need a bit of explanation) ;) :
Matthew 17:20 "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."
Luke 17:6 "And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you."
So, "faith like a mustard seed" isn't far from a direct quote. :)

Hey, I just launched my "Online Bible" (it's an application, not a web site, although I know there are web sites for such), did a quick search on "mustard", and edited out the non-pertinent parts.
