It's Winter now in Antarctica, and there are about 250 souls at McMurdo Station braving the long darkness. If anyone's interested in an article on the subject, click here (http://www.polar.org/AntSun/weatheringwinter.html). I still plan on going to The Ice myself one day, perhaps even with a winter-over.

My wife and I were thinking out whewre to go on our next big trip and I'll admit, an Antarctic trip from Argentina was one of the possibles (Gallapegos Islands, New Zealand, French Polynesia, and Australia were also on the short list)
