We just celebrated my sister's baby coming home and we had some chilled Dom Perignon in the fridge to celebrate. It's some damn good stuff.

Not that I'm irish or that I drink alcohol on occasion, but Dom is definitely a fine champagne (though in my humble opinion, an overrated champagne for the price).

I prefer Magnum or Moet & Chandon White Star. I made sure that White Star was served at my wedding because too many times I had been at weddings where they served Korbel or some other cheap brut that tasted like piss. Can you say :puke: ?

I will say this though - celebrating a new arrival like a child is definitely a time for a fine alcohol. :)
