1860: Abraham Lincoln (assassinated)

1880: James A. Garfield (assassinated)

1900: William McKinley (assassinated)

1920: Warren G. Harding (died in office)

1940: Franklin D. Roosevelt (dies in office)

1960: John F. Kennedy (assassinated)

1980: Ronald Reagan (survived assassination attempt)

2000: George W. Bush ???????????


And to think that we had two guys fighting it out in the courts to
be the one elected in 2000.

Does anyone else see the irony that Reagan took a bullet but Bush almost got iced by a pretzal. If he had died of that it would have been funny on the list...

If you go by that list, they die every 20 years. If so, Bush has already missed his due date.

However, if you are just going by the year the president was elected into office, then yea, he's got two more years left to see what happens. :P

I don't remember all the dates exactly, but Lincoln died in 1863 and FDR died in 1944 I believe.

didn't you ever hear about the presidents curse? some old indian put a curse on whomever was holding the presidential office every 20 years...they were to be killed be cause an old indian chief was killed or something...i forgot.
