this is for Apex, stylish sushiboy,etc...anyone else who is of asian decent who might want to answer this...I was in a heated debate during a game of cards tonight over whether or not asians can grow LOTS of chest/facial hair..I mean thick stuff..like the back of my uncle vito's shoulders..5 people I know said that asians do not even shave..I said they were wrong..that asian people DO SHAVE but probably not as much as some races..then they brought up the chest hair issue...since I am not asian, and specifically an asian male..I need some input from those who know best..also..are their any oriental women/men with very light colored eyes?..I say of course there is..but don't recall ever seeing anyone..my friends-the ignorant group that they are (and the beer didnt help) said that asians never have light colored eyes. I don't even want to tell you what the conversation was about indian men..but if you can help me out here this would be great..thanks

I have brown eyes and olive skin oblong!!!

Personally i've never seen an asian with light eyes. I don't think they have the genes that give light eyes. Not to say that it isn't possible with some outside breading or gene splicing :D

i've never seen an asian person with light eyes per say but i've seen one with blonde hair (not dyed). I don't know if he was a half breed or what but he was in my class back in like 4th grade. I am sure there might be some light eyed asians, maybe at least 1.

personally speaking, i do have to shave every two days, and i used to have a goatee, which i shaved off. i also have a patch of chest hair, tho not impressively much, and i also think i'm giving out more information than is healthy... :dodgy:

as for asians with light colored eyes, i met a girl in the english class i just finished who had brilliant blue eyes... of course, it could have been color contacts, but if they were real, man... it was really amazing to look at. :)

There are some Asians who happen to have light hair genetically. It's weird...

Well....I'm not all that hairy...I shave every two weeks or so.

I know my little bro isn't all that hairy.

A lot of my other Asian friends aren't that hairy either.

The only Asians that I know of are pretty hairy are Koreans and Filipinos.

And I don't know any Asians with light eyes.

I'm half korean and only shave every 3-4 days. And do not have a hairy chest. I also don't remember seeing any asian with naturally light colored eyes. Even half-asians I know all seem to have dark eyes.

regarding the topic...

i have facial hair. after i shave, the next day, i can already feel it growing back. I haven't shaved for about a week now, and you could easily see it. But I've never grown it out. oh yeah, and i have somewhat hairy legs and arms. there is fuzz on my chest, but dont think it'll grow too much.

As for the light eyes. Are you including people that are mixed? If so, I had a friend in elementary school, she was mixed caucasian and chinese. She had light blue eyes, if I remember correctly. I think I faintly do remember some others with the features u're interested in, but sadly, I don't remember names, or have any pictures to prove it so

cow tipping is different, in that case your knocking a LOT of weight over with no support, painful! But cows sit all the time to rest.

The gene that causes blue eyes is recessive... meaning that you have to get 2 of them (one from mother, one from father) to get blue eyes. If you only get one you'll end up with brown eyes. Since blue eyes arn't naturally apparent in asians it means they have 2 brown eye genes, even if they have a child with a blue eyed person the child would end up with one brown eyed gene... sooo you can't get blue eyes with only half asian in you. ok sorry, i was bored and happen to love genetics :D

One of my mom's friend has two kids with blond hair and blue eyes. Their dad is white and mom is chinese.
They have the slanted eyes and speak mandarin pretty well. I think their eye color will change as they grow older though.
My fiance used to have hazel eyes when she was young, now they are light brown.

actually, i almost completely forgot about my best friend... he's full korean, but he's got naturally brownish hair and hazel-ish eyes, very light.

oh, and the both of us, if we grow out our facial hair, tend to find lots of red, really light brown, and even some blonde stubble along with the natural black. it's odd...

and, so even when you have the mother and father with the recessive blue eyed gene - you'll still only have a 1/4 chance of having a child with blue eyes.

i don't think pure pacific islanders (east asians) have light colored eyes naturally, I think our dark brown eye color is a dominant gene. but if you look into our eyes near a light or in the sun it does become lighter because of the light and how it reflects or passes through. I love how our eyes are though, in the dark it looks like black pearls shining and glimmering in the light it has a nice light shade of brown look =)

and our hair color is similair in the aspect that it can have many shades of brown to black, in the light it becomes brown more easily because usually we have thinner hair at least girls do. some ppl have lighter then others.

Chest hair.. hmm for us east asians, we don't grow much chest hair, it also depends on diet though I think. Indians and other asians like russians I think grow a lot more hair... it might be due to diet and climate differences.... ppl that lived in the US or other countries long seem to be different be a little usually...

I can't say much for other people, but I do know some orientals with a significant amount of body hair (all females) although none with blue or green eyes. As for me, I shave about once a month. However, I do have chest hair. Heck, I have 4 chest hairs. :P

No, cows lay down all the time. I grew up on a farm with hundreds of cattle. Never had one die because it couldn't get up, and never had to help one get up. Believe me, they lay around all day. Now, they always lay *on top* of their legs, I've never seen a cow lay on it's side, with its legs sticking out. Maybe it would be difficult for them to get up in that situation, but not impossible.

You think that's strange? My hair color is dark brown but my facial hair is red. My eye color is sometimes blue and sometimes green, it really depends on the lighting (florescent makes em look grey, and i don't even know how to describe it in black lights). I have little chest hair but i have long long nipple hair.

Anyway, I know a few Asian people with blue eyes, but I'm not sure if they are contacts. Several of them might also be mixed, because a couple had very light hair as well.

Also, I've seen some very hairy Asian guys before... No, not Italian hairy, but close...

Okay I have to say that I could shave every day, but I don't because it irritates my skin. So I end up getting scruffier and scruffier as the week progresses. I can grow a full beard.

As for chest hair, yessiree got that too.

Now on a side note, have you ever seen any people that have hair in between the first and second joint on their fingers? Whoa, only saw one person like that in my life and he was asian.

As for the light eyes, hard to tell now-a-days with all the fakey colored contact wearing people out there.
