Last summer on tv-National Geographic had a special about the wooley mammoth that was buried in the ice in complete form..the last thing I knew, they were going to chip it out of the ice, and airlift it somewhere to do testing on it..did anyone ever catch the sequel to that? what happened to that darn thing anyway?

The first one was in search of the wooly mammoth and the sequel was raising the wooly mammoth if I remember correctly. Its been a while, but if I recall correctly, they had the mammoth back on ice in an underground cave system. They had removed DNA and were conducting other experiments too. The sequel had more CGI and was more focused on the life of mammoths and discovering more preserved animals.

I know you can go to Discovery.com and order a copy of the show on DVD or tape (if you are a bit behind the times and soon to go extinct yourself :) )
