my friends and I have been able to take it.. somewhat.. it takes a lot of coordination.. on a 4v2, our team got smacked cuz I attacked the comp too early without friends backing up. and one of our friends was afk.. but we've been able to hold our own somewhat.. :)

comps are easy once you understand them... u just have to realize that they build perfectly... and the difference between comps and us... they build many different kinds of units... while we usually build 2-3 different types... plus they have PERFECT micro-management... they can control all 90 units perfectly... we can't... so you must build faster then they do... cause they waste time building air units and so forth... For example... you build a grip of fully upgraded grunts... wipe out their money or army... and keep attacking... but u must expand early... cause just like real life... war is expensive... and if you play in lost temple... don't lose any units...just send the weak to the middle to heal... and you have to cripple their money... :)... i finally reached level 14 woot!!

yea, you gotta realize that the comp uses ALL of its resources. Plus the comp has a sort of a one track mind. If you use a multi-pronged attack on it, its a goner.

Actually, in a way, it is. The computer knows the map already. Aside from their perfect micro-management, the computer knows where everything is on the map and reacts accordingly. They attack early with their heros to beef them up really early in the game. My friend and I were able to a computer 2v1 the second time we tried, but that is because we are just 3lite :| (pssst, corsec, how do you use this hacker keyboard again? )...

I just play 1v1 against the computer. I won once b/c they computer blocked himself in. I saved the same and watched the replay. Not a very smart cookie that one game.

I beat the last campaign on normal fairly easy but on Hard it's almost impossible. Havent beaten it on Hard. Reaches 10 minutes and the I'm done for.

games i've played and won today:

2v1 cpu
2v2 cpu
3v3 cpu
5v4 cpu

but i'm still havin tons of trouble with arranged games.. 3v3 or so.. friggin hard!! i wonder whether or not the other teams are using map hacks or just have too much time on their hands and play too much..

 I have no idea. I can beat the comp on 1v1. I still haven't tried MP vs CPU (just PVP). I haven't played for a couple weeks, though. My old SOYO mboard went bad and kept freezing the system (so I kept losing games by default in BNET). One time I lost when the guy only had a couple buildings left :(. What really gets my goat was a guy who had literally played hundreds of games and created a new character to take on newbies. he trounced me like the comp never could .

I love it when good players hide behind bad records. ;)

i guess since i only had one account, you could call that the bad one. regular SC had a record of around 480-34-32. BW had a record of 100 something-32-14.. i started playing BW rather late.. i was stuck on playing regular SC with friends who didn't have BW.

and as for WC3.. man, anyone got strategies for vs players? any tips on build orders? from what i've gathered.. this is what i do for night elves..

4 wisps to mine, 1 to build moon, queue 2 wisps on tree.
1st wisp that comes out, build their barrack type thing.
2nd wisp that comes out, get lumber, queue some more wisps!
3rd wisp that comes out, build the upgrade building, so you can get huntresses quick.
4th wisp that comes out, build alter.
by the time your hero comes out, you should already have 1 upgrade weapons, 3 huntresses..

i dunno if thats the best build order.. any tips would be appreciated :P
