Hello everyone, long time listner first time caller, I am starting a semester of school in New York in August and just realized that I am the only one of my friends who is still underage. Right now I live in LA so there are plenty of 18/over clubs so it has never been a problem, but my buddies tell me that in NY the only good places to go to are 21/over. Anyway point is I am lookin for advice/deals/a clue of how to get my hands a fake id or how to make one. I am sure most of you have gone through this at least once in your life, time to pass the wisdom on down to the next generation...

Actually I am in college right now, this is going to be my junior year. I am just doing an internship in New York, what sucks is that I am the youngin in my group and everyone else is 21 now....

Yeah there will be plenty of "friends of friends" to make them at college. Only piece of advice - don't make it yourself cause if you get caught making a fake id its a much worse crime than being caught using one.

Not a problem for me since the bar age at champaign-urbana is 19.

Get an Epson 740
get an Apls as well
get a laminator
get a sander

Use photoshop, put your pic (blue background) and print it out on good paper

Laminate

Use alps Gold Foil Ink and Print Hologram (it works perfectly)

sand edges
And that's the end of that chapter

Or when you get out there forget to have your ID made on time and then see if they can make you one on the spot, of course add the year or two you need for the age you should be, it worked for me in college, except when I wanted one with the right age they made me another year older......

Find someone who looks like you, have them report it lost/stolen, and get a new one. Then you pay the fee. (This worked for my brother for 4 years.)

It's a little more work, but real cheap. Find the part where the year is and print up a piece of paper with a different year. It may take a little work to get the font and color right. Put it over the real year. Then put a piece of that clear packing tape over the whole thing and trim the edges real nice. Best to get a wallet with one of those clear windows and show it through that. If you get busted for speeding, pull the tape off.

If your ID is laminated, you can tear it open and fix it, then relaminate it.

Or you could just go downtown in any major city and look for a sign that says novelty ID's. There's one here in Vancouver that does all the provences and all the US states. If you can, get one made from a small Canadian povince, like New Brunswick or Manitoba. Bouncers will have no idea what a real one looks like. You might want to brush up on your geography, just in case they ask questions.

First of all, with California IDs, you cant rip the lamination off unless you know what you're doing because it will crack if not ripped of properly. No, I dont know how to do it.

This allows it to print holograms. It is special ink, and it looks like the real thing

$90 seems a bit pricey. If it is perfect, and you will use it for a coupla years, look at it as an investment. You never know sending money to FakeID guys though. You cant complain, "I want my money back, I was trying to buy a fake ID"! So always be cautious with who you're dealing with and make sure you trust them. If you're looking for one in an hour in Los Angeles, just take the 101 to Alverado St, get off the freeway. Pull into the MickeyD's right off the freeway, you will be cornered by guys wanting to make IDs for you! Done in an hour

Penny: It's Downtown, on Granville St. I don't remember where exactly, it was several years ago. There was a sign street level, but the place was upstairs. It was in the crappy part on Granville, south of Georga, north of the bridge.

Forget making yourself one man. It costs way too much for the equipment that you would need. I found the best place to go. You said you live in NYC right? Well there is a place called the Village Pop and it is located on ?# Bleeker Street. They also have another place called the Village Star. I forgot which store is on Bleeker but they are run by the same people. The store itself is a tattoo parlor plus a body piercing parlor. They are run by indian guys. They have the best fake IDs that I have ever seen. They are the credit card version plus they have the state's hologram. The only thing you have to do is find the place and go up to the guy at the counter and ask them if they make "photo IDs". Don't say anything about fake IDs. After that you should be all set. And everything only costs $60. Well there you go. You can tell everyone about this place, because it's awesome. Good Luck!

Cheapest REAL id for you to get in LA...

Memorize a friend of your's information. (Pick someone who's 21 or older.) Copy his birth certificate. Go to DMV. Say you lost your id and need new one. Then recite info. You get a new ID with YOUR photo on it and if swiped, it comes up with your friend's legit information. I know a few people who have done this. Try Culver City DMV, it's the least busiest, and seems like the least caring.

Just don't get caught.

I was in that been there done that situation. Military ID's are amongst the EASIEST to fake. The are cheaply made, and laminated. If you can find someone who has one of these, you should be set. All you have to do is make a photo copy of the ID (with red paper, because it is on red paper usually), then get your picture made and have it put on your ID. Get someone's BDU's and you'd be set looking real. However since it is a FEDERAL ID, it is a Federal Offense. Use at your own risk, it worked for me for many years. I would first use my school ID, then they would say nope, has to have Age information, then I would say, how about a Federal Military ID, issued by the government! I never got denied. They would ask for DL sometimes, and I would just say, I don't have one because it was revoked in high school, and I don't need an ID card because I have this Military ID.

Good luck...also don't waste your money on fake-ids.org, once it gets taken they usually cut it on the side so it is known to be non usable anywhere else...hence bye bye $90.

Hey collegekid, if you wanna live real dangerous like...you can get an ID from Alvarado St. in Downtown for about 40 bucks (60 if you cant speak spanish). If you go right by MacArthur Park you will literally get propositioned every 20 feet from a ID seller. You might also get some propositions for crack...but anyways...haha

Oh btw this is mostly kidding, I got my ID there and they are ALL real crappy IDs...but it works in a lot of places because most liquor store guys are looking for any excuse to sell the stuff. Also, if you look a little too white, or act at all belligerent...they will pull a knife on you.
If you actually drive over there to get an ID bring someone who speaks Spanish well. You'll be a million times safer.

The easiest way to do it is get a template, take a picture, scan it in. For the hologram what we did was print it out on a transparency and whie it was still wet press it against the laminate. Looks good. The easiest states are Utah, and Maine. What we did when we made them was we also provided people with a 2nd form of ID. For example, lets say you'er from augusta, maine. We'd provide an ID, and a second form that said Augusta Parks and Recreation District, like a Rec center card. Also, what you wanna do is find a Mcey D's in maine or utah and use the zip code from there. Remember, its all about attitude...I've seen people w/ good fakes get busted cause of attitude. I've seen people w/ ****ty fakes BS their way out of things and not get caught.

I still think my way is the best. Just have one of your friends give you their id. Even if you got caught you can always say you found it. It's a lot better than trying to fake an id yourself. Don't go to DMV and try to make an id using someone else's info It is a Felony in most states.

hey, in SF you dont need a fake id, just go around and smoke out a bunch of the door guys in the city, they'll let you in every time yo come back. weed is the greatest schmoozing tool available in the bay area.

I don't know about NYC, but if you ever happen to end up in DC for any reason...there is a really easy way to get one there.
The place is actually a legit ID card agency...they just never ask for verification on any of the critical information. You can get a valid District ID made for...I think $25.00

Last time i was in NYC, I saw a good place- A Used Record store/tattoo place near the NYU campus...called Mr.(something's) Records or something like that. There is a sign in the window or something to that extent that says IDs...

Its a couple blocks from NYU, RIGHT down the St. From the Christopher St. subway stop. on 8th street, maybe?

Integra: I don't remember the name, but I do remember it was $40. All I can say is to head down to Granville and walk it. Keep an eye out for a sign that says novelty ID's. It was one of thoese on sidewalk triangle signs. It'll only take about 10 min. I'm not even sure if the place is still around, but there might be a new one, and if there is, it'll be at the South end of Granville.

go to Alvarado street in LA. It has the Cali licenses with the holograms!

About $50-60. If you drive around, slow down when someone approaches you...dont be scared. Just have a passport photo and get it with a blue background.

This id NEVER gets rejected.

The alvarado St. ID's are the worst ever. The "swipe" on the back is a piece of VHS tape. The color is off colored. Usually there are glue stains on the picture, and typo's as well. The holograms are stickers, and are not shiny. It is harder to make a license that looks more fake than the ones from alvarado.

I live in upstate NY and last year I made my own fake. I just used the NJ-template and printed it on glossy paper on my friend's inkjet. I also bought a laminator for $30 at *sigh* Staples. Everything was easy to do, only took a night. I just used a Polaroid to take the pic and used Photoshop to change the white bg to blue. I even added a lighting source to make the bg match the lighting on my nose http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/wink.gif I had never been stopped with it. Worked like a charm. I didn't even add the gold-hologram to it. I just used it w/out it. It doesn't matter so much about the ID, it matters about your attitude and how you dress and carry yourself. I used to use this really really ****ty one I bought in Toronto and even that one I only got stopped once.

This is dumb unless you want all those places shut down. Another thing, some places in DC like PolyEsthers have a fake id machine that they run id's with bar codes or magnetis strips thru. Borrow your brother sister or cousin that resembles you.

Or you could always try using one from Vermont. You know you have to go to the capital to get a picture put on one? And pay extra for a picture? That's crazy!
States that don't have holograms? Vermont, of course, and Colorado are both very easy to do. Florida has a silly little one that looks pretty real if you just scan and print it on the actual template. That's what we used to use in college.
Beyond that, the above methods work great. Avoid california, I found it pretty tough to get the right rigidity.

i can't believe this post has run so long, I figured there were only a couple of y'all who would be able to relate to my perdicament, but I suppose at one time or another everyone has felt the oppresion of uncle sam and his sadistic tendency to stop good kida like me from havin some good clean fun...

And of course since this is a deals forum, after the suggestion of fake-id.org I checked it out on a couple chat channels and was told that it is very legit but that you should call first and then place an order, I guess sometimes when they recieve random orders they freak out and don't process them.

hades451 - Don't use fake-id.org I tried to get an ID from them for my girlfriend and even though they told me that they mailed the ID my girlfriend never received it. I was duped and now I am out $85. Thank goodness I made some money off those casino places.

Military ID? I'm an Army brat and I can tell you that they are just as difficult to fake as Cali's. As of about 10 years ago, they use all a digital camera and have multiple holograms. They aren't cheap laminations with photo cutouts anymore.

Red? Was your friend in the Navy? Never seen a red one...
