Got my LOTR dvd today.....

opened it up and noticed security tape on both ends the case and a LOTR sticker on the side that opens. Took a minute just to open.
Popped the dvd into my rig and their own little lotr player popped up.
Starts playing the trailer etc and then I choose play the movie and .........

snap! its the Full screen version. Oh well was planning to get one for Dad and another when the one with the missing scenes came out.
Guess he's getting the cut one and I guess Im buying another.

Quality product here. No complaints other that me not paying attention and getting wrong version.

They have full screen only version? I would have never figured. Thanks for letting us know. I probly would have got the wrong one too.

I gave in and decided to get the 2 disc version last nite. Didn't realize I was holding the Fullscreen version til I got to the front of the damn line at BB. The widescreens were definitely rare there... Can't wait to see it!!:cool:

Mine came in too, but my roommate drove over it. Hopefully it's okay.
