So where does everyone go to meet cute guys?

To meet the cute ones I generally meet them at clubs or bars ... but those are the kind that never last cuz they're the "I look cute but am no good for a relationship" type.

The internet has done well for me to find guys. I've dated some pretty good guys from posting a personal in Yahoo. And although I'm not currently dating them, they are pretty normal guys! Just some of our traits haven't matched. So what the hell, post an ad on yahoo and see who responds. I warn you, you will get some freaks (they're everywhere!) but I've met great people from there!

Parties = bad place to meet guys, depending on the party. Personally...I don't think people act like themselves with liquor in them - but that's my opinion.

I think parties are pretty good places to meet people. But it depends on the party. When my roommates and I used to have parties, we'd get to meet each others friends and stuff. It wasn't too bad. Speaking of which, got a party to go tonight. :)

I have to agree a bit with this one. In all my searches, I may have come across guys that were good, but I've meet the BEST guys when I WASN'T looking! I mean, it's like when you're looking for that lost shoe - you don't find it until you stop looking. :D

Actually, you can meet guys just about anywhere. Just keep yourself open to the possiblity and don't make it a habit of going out in sweats with no makeup. ;)

If you want to go out "specifically" to meet guys, go where they like to go. The basketball courts, a Lakers game (or whoever is in your home town), or whatever, etc.

Clubs aren't good thoughcause most of the guys there are looking for something specific...a "Piece". I rarely go to clubs anyway, I go only to see a specific band or to hang out with the friends I'm there with. I don't like being hit on like that, its disrespectful, at least to me.

I think its better to meet someone when they are being "themselves", doing what they like to do...rather than in a place where they are trying to front so that they can "impress" you.

Maybe i'm alone on this, but i really don't care too much for makeup, I'd rather see the girls face than the rainbow covering it. Guess i'm just a little conservative, but i think it makes them look sooooo much more attractive when they do decide to put some on for a special occasion.

As a girl who just recently discovered make-up, I have to agree. I find though that make-up has it's advantages, but I only wear it here and there. I mean, this is funny because I just finished applying some since I'm going out in a bit, but I think it's only needed for special occasions. I never wore it in high school and I wasn't "looked at" differently. Just I hate too much make-up and I hardly wear that much myself.

I actually have to withdraw what i said. I guess what I meant is don't going out looking sloppy, go out looking your best or however it is where you feel confident in yourself. I attract more men when I am feeling confident in myself...it shows in my demeanor.

Yes, there are many women who don't wear makeup or much makeup and look great and some women just overdo it. I wear eye makeup and lipstick...but I don't wear anything on my face except a little powder cause I have oily skin (thank God my complexion has always been pretty clear)... actually there are sometimes I don't wear any makeup at all.

Well, I'll weigh in my opinion on makeup.

It sucks in every way possible. All women... ALL women, no matter how beautiful or unattractive, look better without makeup than they do with. It looks fake. Furthermore, it stinks and makes me nauseous. It prematurely ages the skin so that the women wearing it start to look worse without it and end up relying on it more. Somehow, women in our society have come to believe that it actually makes them look better, so they feel more confident while wearing it. :shrug:

All I can say is, thank goodness my GF doesn't wear any makeup at all, otherwise, I'd be :puke: everytime I tried to kiss her.

I think that is what the make-up industry wants you to think. They have brainwashed you to think that these natural marks are not good! Who cares! People should like you for what you really look like because in the end, they're going to see you the next morning and I don't think they want to wake up to a completely new person. society has had lot of influence on what we consider Cute...hot...really hot! compare skinny people and fat people, and people with blond hair or black hair.

in the early part of some date 1900 or 1843 what ever the date was. People concidered "plump" people to be the "hot" people of their day. now what? we consider slim people to be the "really hot" people right now. It all has to do with what the media and society see "attractive" as!

and to stay on the subject. I'm just a loney guy that does not go to parties or bars. I'm stuck here in China till I go back to college in the states, than the parties can begin!

i don't know about "cute" and "hot", but there ARE natural features that are universally attractive. I remember watching the discover channel one night and they were talking about a study to see if beauty was the same throught the world, or largely influenced by culture. While there were features unique to different places, overall they found the same features on a face to be attractive. Oddly enough the face had a strange resemblance to the pre-slut britney.

actualy, if we were animals, it would be the MALE of the species who try to attract the attentions of the female. i think that is the way we should do it ... the MEN should have to make themselves look attractive :D
