You need to rent Magnolia with Tom Cruise. It sux btw but the seminar had me and my friends in stitches. It also got my female friends a little confused, with the Tom Cruise factor and the total a hole he portrayed. I digress, check it out maybe it can help get back in control of your situation :P.

and on a weird note, I walked out tonight too...
I had had it with work and the assistant mgr who thinks he can ignore and not hear my crys for help.
He actually said as I was walking out the door all you have to do is ask and I will send someone over to help. I THOUGHT I DID!!!

personally, i have no idea about this situation. and maybe the other situation was different in ways. maybe they're the same in other ways. but i'm not judging...just pointing out stuff really. not to mention we don't know how pink's friend felt, nor do we know how your friend feels. so to most of us it's all a mystery.

Don't wait too long. I had a conversation with a friend of mine who is a lurker here (and in a thread here btw) about whether it is best to call back ASAP or give the girl a chance to cool down. One thing that I noticed was that guys tended to wait to let things cool down. Girls tend to think that that is a bad idea. Since we're dealing with a girl here... I think their opinion might be more relevant here. :) Either ways, good luck dude.

The general trend that I noticed when I asked girls and guys about this is that when a guy and a girl get into an altercation, argument, etc... for simplicity sake, let's just say that a guy and girl get into an argument over the phone and one person hangs up on the other(this was the specific case that I was discussing). Guys in general tend to wait a while before calling back because they figure it'll give both themselves and/or the girl time to cool down. Girls tend to say that if a guy doesn't call back immediately, they sit there stewing waiting for the call. They take it as a sign that the guy doesn't care enough to be bothered enough to call back (my interpretation of the data). :)
