hmmm, i wonder if i can do a full fledged review.....
anyways, I have OS 10.2 build 6c1115, which is the supposed GM. My build has a few time stamp differences from the latest build, so it may be a preseed build. the bugs i noticed may be fixed.
Speed is a huge improvement over 10.1.x
Aqua is more refined and has a smoother look, which is easier on the eyes.
iChat rocks. pretty customizeable for a first attempt. The text bubbles make multicolored messages (non white background) more friendly on the eyes. You can easily create a buddy icon and select what part will be used from your original picture.
SMB/CIFS support works and works well.
FTP from the finder has a slight bug. The shares are right protected for some reason.
Firewall is easily customizable.
Antialiasing works great.
Finder is now more refined. Can be customized more than 10.1 allowed
Sherlock works awesome. You can find everything from stock quotes to showtimes with a few simple clicks.
Have yet to try rendevous since i only installed the OS on my firewire drive.
Junk mail filter works great. again its easily customizable.
iCal (not part of 10.2, but soon to be released after 10.2) is very simple to use. Havent used it much yet.
Spring loaded folders are back!!!!
There are many other updates and new geatures taht are included with it. The speed increase is very very notcable. Overall i think its great.
