Anyone with curly hair?

Alright, I have curly hair...and I mean like curly cues, and I'm just curious if any of you gals have ideas on what to do with it! I usually wear it down or halfway up or something. That's SO daring, isn't it?!? It's just hard to manage at times and people with curly hair will understand. :)

I WISH I had naturally curly hair, my hair is just wavy. I used to get spiral perms all the time, but my hair won't take a perm anymore. But straight is actually in now, so I blowdry it straight and wear it a bit long with long layers all the way around. I need another cut very soon.

For curly, I would wear it medium to long. Get a good cut and use the straightening products to straighten for variation (I use KMS products, esp the "oil" I forgot exactly what its called but it helps keep hair straight).

I used to pull my hair back and then let little bits of curly hair hand in my face (tendrils ?). That looks really pretty and feminine.

Thanks. I've thought about straightening it a little, but I love the curls to be honest. I don't know, so much work, but I'm sure I'll try straightening it one of these days. My hair is a little past my shoulders and I like this length; just enough to handle.

I will play around with pulling my hair back more - I usually just throw it in a bun.

I think you look damn sexy with it the way you had it at the beach. Don't change it. :D

Well thanks, but it gets boring just to do that everytime. Besides, it gets in the way at times.

I didn't mean to straighten permenantly.

I know people with curly hair who will blow dry it straight using a paddle brush and the straightening hair products + oil. When they wash it, of course, its curly again.

That's what I meant by variation.

I'm a guy with really really curly (naturally) hair.

It can get annoying. Every girl wants curly hair, curly haired guys want straight hair.... everyone wants what they dont have

One of my girl friends has natural curly hair and it's damn curly. Well she uses those iron thingies. THe thing with two flat pieces and you stick your hair in and then close the flat things together and just pull it down through the lenght of the hair. I have no idea what they are called.
