The Silent Treatment

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. The next week, the man realized that he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 a.m. for an early morning business flight to Sydney.

Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (AND LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5:00 a.m.". The next morning, the man woke up only to discover it was 9:00 a.m. and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't woken him when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed.

The paper said, "It is 5:00 a.m. Wake-up."

(MEN JUST AREN'T EQUIPPED FOR THESE SORT OF CONTESTS)

hehe no women just practice these dumb tricks on their
best friends while they're growing up. men are smart enough
to not keep on hanging out with a person they secretly hate.
too bad that makes us not equiped when we need to act like
4 yr olds =)

Oh, I have to totally disagree. The idiot guys in high school hung out with idiots just like them and hated them! But did they say anything? No! They were worse then girls! I remember the cat fights. Everyone when they're growing up hangs out with people they "secretly" hate. I think it's a part of growing up. It's defiantely a WEIRD part, but I think it gives you practice for the real world. I mean, there may be people at work that you don't really like, but you HAVE to work with them, don't you? So you have to learn how to deal with it. That's my theory anywho. :bandit:

dum da de dum dum, dum dum. ur wrong. guys who do that dumb stuff r
wussies and learn how to be a man when they get outta high school. its
in girls' natures to use emotions as a crutch and emotions cause
problems between friends especially when they're insecure b/c their
best friends attracted the attention of a guy they like and so they
hate them for it and undermine them.
