Sadly I have never played Unreal at any version.:(
I figure it's another Doom/Quake game and rather than be
more fodder for frags I never bought it.

But the screenshots are sweet. :)

That version you have isn't a demo, its a beta (exteremly early one too). It surfaced in april and since then many other newer versions have popped up. I've heard that the newest one is the complete game just without multiplayer so I guess its almost done. Probably just working on balances and such...

Word is that minumum specs will be quite reasonable - PIII 500 & a 3D video card... 8 or 16MB on the video card, can't remember exactly.

Now if you want to see it running at full resolution with all the cool effects, you might have to bump those specs up a bit.
