View Full Version : Reminder -- $300 "Happy Hour" Bonus at Casino-on- Net on Monday (7/17)

I thought i'd create an account today since I may not be home tomorrow night...Anyway, I used a credit card that I already used before, and I didn't get a bonus. So...either they've always been this smart, or they're starting to get smart. Just thought i'd let you guys know it looks like you have to use a different credit card for the bonus...

This is a reminder for those who have not had a chance to pick up an easy (and safe) $300 from Casino-on-Net Their famous Happy Hours come back on Monday (7/17). See excerpt from their email below.

I also have some questions for anyone who has successfully gotten the $300 bonus more than once. Is it possible, and, if so, how does one do this? For example, does one need to: (1) use new Casino-on-Net user account, (2) use different credit card, (3) delete Casino-on-Net cookies, etc.?

Link for Casino-on-Net is:
http://www.casino-on-net.com

Excerpt from their email:

On the 17th of July you are invited to join us during our
world-famous "Happy Hours". Once again, we will gladly add 10% to your
deposits made between 21:00 and 23:00 EST (GMT: Tuesday, July 18, 1:00- 3:00AM).
Members who deposit for the first time will receive this 10% in
addition to their 20% initial deposit bonus. As always, the
Rules apply: you have to wager the full amount of the bonus before
cashing it out.

I used a different credit card and it worked out...i've heard that it also works with the same card (if you create another account)...so, i'll try it out tomorrow.

So Civic, did you use a different name/address or just a different Credit card and still get the new user 20% on top of the happy hour 10%? Also, did you create a new user id with them??

Darnit!
07-16-2000, 09:14 AM
Yeah, and for that matter how do you use a different address? I would think for security purposes, they will verify that the address you use is the same as the one your CC company goes by. Also, is there anything fraudulent about creating a second acc't, etc????

NiceMann
07-16-2000, 10:53 AM
As for the different address...it will usually work as long as you are using the same zipcode. That is what most CC companys go by to verify the address. For example I have my home address, PO Box, and MBE...I can use any of them because they are in the same city.

Now for it being illegal....I would have to say yes. But most casinos won't catch it, but when you are wagering $1000 it is not the time to try it. Now if the casino catches it...they will still have to refund your deposit.

Nope, same address, just a different cc#...worked out great. Can't wait till tomorrow night, $300 for doing nothing http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ... well, I do have a question though. I did this back when they were giving bonuses (so I got $200 + $25 bonus), and roulette only allows you to wager a max of $100 on Even/Odd alone, so I did it once with $100/$100, then $13/$12 and ended up with $226...but a week later they said it would be sent to my bankroll, and when I asked why they said it was because I have to bet it all first...odd, isn't it? So I just lost $26 on purpose and walked out with $200...anyone else have the same problem?

Ok, Civic, really stupid here so please bear with me... you used your same name and address but a different credit card... did you use the existing software that was already on your system and just go to the cashier with a new credit card number to make a new deposit or did you go to their webpage and download the software again, register a new user name then deposit?(please stop rolling your eyes... i know, dumb questions but I need it spelled out...sorry and thanks)

CiViC
07-16-2000, 04:05 PM
I used the existing software, when you start the software, under "Play for Real Money" you have the option to register as a new user. Just do that, and you should be set...hopefully. Kinda sucks that I used my debit card to try it one more time (and like I said, no bonus http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/frown.gif ), so i'm gonna be without $1000 for about 10-14 days (their turnaround time according to a friend is pretty bad nowdays, at least longer than the 5 days they promise).

What is everyone's experience with the wire transfer option for getting your payout? I'm a little weary about giving my bank account number to anyone (not much protection under law from fradulent access). I think casino-on-net.com mentions that some banks might charge a fee for RECEIVING a wire? If so, has anyone done this with a nations...err Bank of America account? Also, how long does it take for it to show in your account?

DM.

CiViC
07-16-2000, 04:57 PM
Although I admit wire transfers sound appealing, I recommend waiting it out for a check. Why? Obviously...why give out personal information when you don't have to? Sure, it's a bit speedier...but it's better to be safe than sorry. They want my bank information? Let me see theirs first.

plo
07-16-2000, 05:28 PM
i chose to have the money wired to my account because i was impatient and didn't want to wait. I bank with washington mutual, and they charge a $10 fee to receive a wire transfer. Bank of America also charges a $10 fee to receive a wire transfer. I'm gonna do this again with my wifes info on monday...more free money..yeeaaahhhhhh http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

CREDIT CARD QUESTION...

hey,

does anyone have any of these credit cards and have tried either of them?

-VISA by FirstCard Bank
-Mastercard by Citibank

I have both and am just wondering which one will NOT charge me a cash advance fee/finance charges.

Thanks,

what i dont get is how are we supposed to make easy money when the most you can pout on the roulette is 100 on each thing while they tell you to wager all the bonus at once??

franco46
07-17-2000, 09:14 AM
The rules state that you must gamble at least the $300 bonus money before you can cash out. You do NOT have to gamble it all at once. In fact roulette has a max of $100 I think.

By now Franco has worked himself into a greed frenzy in anticipation of scoring his second $300. Money, money, money.....ahaaahaaaaahhaaaaahhaaaa!!!!!!

plo
07-17-2000, 09:17 AM
you don't have to wager the bonus all at once, you just have to play it all before you can cash it out. You can play 300 hands of $1 blackjack if you like. As for charges on your credit card, the company that casino-on-net uses (intersafe global) will be charged a cash advance fee by all mastercards (my credit card people, mbna, said it's a mastercard policy). However when the initial deposit is credited back to your card they also credit back the cash advance fee, at least that was my experience. good luck. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

DizzyT

I did not have my $30 Cash Advance fee credited back but intend to fax a copy of my bill (it still hasnt come in yet) to the fax number provided in a previous post on this topic to have it credited to my account at this casino. All interested should search this forum for the number. I would put it here but unfortunately I printed it out and have it at home waiting for the bill.

I used a Citibank MasterCard ("Platium Select") with several casinos including Casino On Net, and it was a purchase. The only casino that charged as a Cash Advance was Atlantic Interbet... YMMV.

EST might mean australian time according to http://www.cnn.com/WEATHER/worldtime/
if it's australia, then the time would be way different than if EST meant eastern standard time.

What is the process?

Deposit $1000 using CC.

Automagically and immediately get $300?

What bets do you place? $100blk 100red?

Give us a mini-howto.. hehe... its a lot of money I don't feel like losing! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Thanks.

You pretty much got it, except, that if your getting $300, put $150 on Red and $150 on Blk, and pray that it doesnt land on zero. Then when its all said and done, cash out, and in a few days make sure your credit card was refunded the $1000 and then wait a few more days for a check(if you selected to receive a bank draft). Pretty easy...

Do the smart thing and put a few dollars on zero for insurance... I've encountered landing on zero far more times with these online casinos than statistically predicted.

My girlfriend managed to score a $351 jackpot playing roulette... not bad for 10 minutes of our lives...

Thanks alot for the heads up on the happy hour bonus!

I deposited $1000 on a different card this time and got the $300 bonus. I played:

80 RED
80 BLK
6 ZERO

2 times.

First time ZERO came out!
Second time SIX came out.

My account showed $1344 (wagered $332)

Made $344 in just a couple minutes. I love Casino-on-net !!!!!!!!!

Also, just wanted to ask how long it takes for the credit to be put back onto your credit card. Also, did anyone use a citibank visa platinum. One of the above post said that the master platnimum didn't get charged for cash advance but I think I might have been. Kudos

BE CAREFULL BEFORE YOU BET ON RED\BLACK!!!!

I thought that they might be onto it, so I put $5 on red $5 on black and spun the wheel. It came up on RED, guess what they took both of my $5 bets!!!! I tried it again with $1 on each to make sure I wasn't imagining it. It came up black and they took both bets away. I think that they are on to this. Still I played for 3 hours and cashed out my $300 bonus plus another $200 I made playing roulette. It doesn't take long to wager $300. JUST BE CAREFULL BEFORE YOU THROW $100 EACH!!!!!!!

I have citibank platnium and they do charge. It goes on as a finance charge at the end of the bill. It does not show up as a charge. It shows up when they run your statement for the month. I know I called them and asked them.

smeakim u have to be cunning. Tell Citibank people to make your cash advance limit to 50 or 100 dollars(even 0 dollars!!). Now all the purchases will go as a regular one :-)
No fees!!

Buffett,

You can play Roulette without money in the play mode. Are you sure you are playing RED and BLACK and not RED and EVEN. BLACK is hard to find - it's across the table and hard to read.

I think you saw that they just cleared the table. They didn't take your money, just merely took all bets off the table and deposited back into their respective owners. I pretty much only play roulette at Casino On Net, and have never had a problem. http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm on a hot run lately. hehe. i only play the casinos that offer bonuses, and now i'm up about $5k in the past 3 weeks. I have to stop now though..i need to wait for the casinos to credit my credit card back. hehe.

smeakim
07-18-2000, 01:51 PM
For both Casino and On the net the total was $40.59. They charge a $35 dollar flat fee as well as 19.9% per day from the day it was taken out until it was deposited back in. So it was $35 fee plus $5.59 in interest. Which is still not bad considering I got the $200.00 check from Casino On the Net and hopefully $100 check from Atlantic Interbet.

smeakim

I asked Citibank how a cash advance versus a purchase works. They say it is based on how the merchant requests the charge against the card. It does not matter how much you set your cash advnace limit too. It is up to the merchant.

Galahad
07-18-2000, 04:44 PM
I've talked to citibank and they said that no matter what, if you use your credit card at online casinos, they will charge you a cash advance fee for the use. But think he said if you lower your advance limit, it won't go through if it's more than the limit. Not sure if that's true. Oh well, too late for me.

Galahad
07-18-2000, 04:47 PM
also, how long did it take for them to credit you the deposit? and how long does it take for the bank draft to come through.
