The opposite of the other thread. Post any cds you bought that suprised you by how good they turned out to be. I'll start with...

Good Charlotte- Young and The Hopeless.

Just a really easy cd to listen to from beginning to end, no skipped tracks. They are a pop punk band which is gaining in popularity so they may even get some mtv play with some of the better songs on this. If you listen to/download any one song get "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." Its a great song worth, listening to.

recently picked up "something to write home about" by the get up kids... three friends of mine are in a punk band, so i started getting into it a little bit, and this album was pretty damn good, i thought.

also, altho i'm still waiting to get my damn EP's in the mail, i have copies of music from a local band called open:hand, and they freakin ROCK! their drummer is straight BANANAS, i'm tellin you... i think they just recently got signed, so i'll be looking forward to their first new album...

That Nora Jones chick that Chosen seems to have an unhealthy infatuation with. I picked up that CD and it has really exceeded my expectations. The last CD to do that was Dido about a year and a half ago.
