If you want cheap and live in the LA area, I know a couple places in Pomona. I'm going tomorrow to pick up a full size matress and box spring for $99. It's not name brand, but it beats my way small Twin Simmons set which cost me $450! http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/eek.gif

yes.. store name and phone number would be good.. i'm in the LA area also.. looking for an entire new bed actually... my areo bed finally decided to leak after a year.. =(.. but i did order that online.. was cheap too.. sub 100 i beleive.. so if you dont mind getting an air mattress.. there are a bunch of sites that sell those.. but it would be cool if some1 had an online furniture store w/ free shipping... heheh...=D

OK, here's the name of the place I got my mattress at. La Brea Discount Furniture, 810 S. La Brea Ave., Los Angeles, (213)936-8280 I got a full size mattress and box spring for $99 total. He was gonna give me a queen size for the same price since he had extras of those but I couldnt fit that in my old apt. The place is a small hole in the wall and hard to find if you don't know the address. The mattress is not that great but good enough for a student. I don't remember if they charged extra for delivery but you could probably bargain with the guy. We bought a bunch of stuff and he gave us a little off the total.

Just make sure that those are not rebuilt mattresses! May times the cheap ones are pulled out of the trash (or off the street) and just recovered. Make sure the label says ALL NEW MATERIALS...
