typing onto a worksheet?

i need a way to type onto a worksheet for my homework. its a take home midterm test and i have horrible handwriting and she takes off for bad penmanship. i scanned it and tried to use it as a watermark in word, but i cant seem to stop it from fading and its too hard to type without messing up the lines. my second option is to photochop it. anyone have any other ideas on what i can do?

PDF... If you get a copy (ahem) of Adobe Acrobat Writer, or a really good OCR suite may do.

If you have them, scan your doc into a PDF and then use Pagemaker to add your text.

I realize this is complicated....there must be a better way.

i have some OCR trial software that came with my scanner that i just tried, it failed miserabley but not because its bad, because my teacher used some wierd font and i dont have it so it was too messed up. also i cannot change the format at all or my she will not grade it and i will fail the class. i already have a copy :dodgy: of acrobat but everytime i try to add text acrobat surrounds it with an outline. is there a way to do it without that? thanks for the suggestion

Does that help? i created a text box but i cant find any hand type tool and when switch tools the form box disappears and i cant use any other type tools to edit it. :shrug:

im not that great at acrobat 5, but when i inserted the form tool in there and opened up the pdf in ie, it allowed me to type in that space. whats even more strange is that there was no outline and when you start typing the font is the size of the box and shrinks as you type more.

You can only create, edit, and delete form fields while the form tool is active. :)

About the shrinking text, sounds like the font size is set to "Auto." You can set the font in "Field Properties" -- double-click on the form field/textbox.

While you're there, you can also create a border for the textbox to serve as a "guide" while you're typing. Just be sure to get rid of the border afterwards.

The hand tool is the first menu item on the left. You can also access it via the (H) key.

Try Field Properties --> Options --> Multi-line

and

Field Properties --> Options --> Do not scroll. :)
