if i may ask, what exactly is the "vision" for the games page. is it to one day have hands-on reviews of games or just posting articles about articles?

I think we want to expand and start doing reviews ourselves. However, we currently don't have the industry contacts or the man power to become a full time gaming news site. For now, we'll have to rely on others for news. However, I think blitz is working on that part.

We're also floating the idea of having our own clans or other things. If you have any ideas, let us know.

maybe if you move the link to the "Games" page and put it between "Deals" and "Reviews"

when i get my G|A in the mo'nin, i start at news, and i go across the top, ending at forums.

i agree...i say you guys move the "Games" link either next to the "Deals" link or the "Forums" link. i think this will give it a bit more exposure.

as for reviews, what if the G|A Games staff start by making reviews from games that they already own and/or games that they plan to purchase? i'm sure one of you guys are planning on purchasing robotech(i know i am) or mario sunshine or mario party 4 etc etc... start small, and i'm sure momentum will build.

Do we have a space to post reviews? I have Madden 2003 that's recent, and I'm getting Mario Sunshine and Monkey Ball 2 this week (damnit Nintendo ship my game!)

If you guys want I can post a review of Mario by this weekend (need time to play it assuming I get it tomorrow). I can start writing a Madden 2003 one today if there's any interest.

Also, if there's a game you want a truly honest opinion, let us know. You know that we're not being paid by anyone =)

Speaking of which, if you want unbiased opinions, don't read Nintendo Power. My god, Mario could take a crap and Nintendo power would give it a 10 for texture and smell! These people are bloody nuts.

hehehe. I'll do a review if someone sends me a game... shoot, I'll do reviews on entire computers too! :D This, of course, is under the assumption that reviewers get to keep the stuff... ;)

Sorry for the lack of updates on the games page folks!

I'm caught up in a big company move to another building and should be tied up until later this week.

There's not that much for updated news right now anyways with everyone off to E3. So it works out well.

Pick up a current issue of Computer Gameing Monthly and get the demo for Raven Shield! Very nice game, now I want the full version. Also check out File Planet for the Elite Forces II demo as some here will tell ya it worth the 108 MB download!
