Hey all,

this is a real dumb and somewhat useless question. When i drag a link from the Address bar to the Links bar, IE6 creates a short cut. Then an icon is created to the left of the link's text. whether it be a default IE6 html page icon, or a custom one like the little circuit board got|apex? has. Regardless (i dont recall when this "problem" first started either) my IE6 browser stopped storing these custom icons and shows all links after a reboot the generic IE html page. Is there an option i can turn them on to get the cool little icons back?

You are talking about Favicons.

There is a little program called FavOrg (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,108438,00.asp) that scans your list of favorite websites and stores the favicons for you outside of the temporary internet file directory. Using this program guarantees that favicons will always be associated with your bookmarks. :)
