when you're driving, and you freaking get a cramp in your right leg??
this happened to me earlier today, and i panicked, because not only was i in pain, i couldn't step on the accelerator or brake properly!!
ultimately, i had to use my left foot to work the pedals while i contorted my body to figure out some way to stretch out my right leg...
this ever happen to any of yall?

hmm, can't say that's happened to me. but when my butt goes all numb, i pull over to the side of the road and hire one of those bums holding up a (will work for...) sign. So i have the bum massage my butt while i drive.

lol, No I haven't ever really had that happen to me. If you're in the city then that sucks big time, but if you were on a highway and it wasn't too crowded, maybe turn on cruise control if you have it to give your leg a rest. I drove cross country in my sisters Mazda Protege, manual, no cruise control. Sometimes my leg would be killing me from just having it on the accelerator all day and I would have to drive with my left for a minute. Moving the seat back helps too.;)

yes, it did happen right in the middle of busy traffic, and by this i mean bumper to bumper 25 mph driving with lots of stoplights and, for some reason, ambulances whizzing by... so one false move and BOOM! another mark on my record...
luckily i was okay tho... i really don't know what caused it... i mean, i know what causes cramps, but it never happened randomly in the car like that before...

jeez that's scary, good thing you're ok.
Back during them warrin' days I was makin a jump over LZ Python. My buddies in the 52nd were also HALOing into the battle, good thing we have the cover of darkness. Anyway, I was team leader so I jumped first and right when we reached 600 feet both my arms cramped and I couldn't pull my chute open. I thought of pulling the reserve chute but that won't work either :(. Long story short, I died that day... let it be a lesson to all of you. Take care of your bodies, stretch once a day and exercise some... it could mean your life.

Do you keep your wallet in your back pocket?
Anyway, I've had my leg lock up on me, but that is just because I had driven for 5 hours without shifting gears... man, pop that knee into place. :2far:

You need more potassium in your diet. Eat bananas!

i've had that happen to me, as well as a really bad cramp in my leg when riding the cycle... and if i put my leg straight down on the cycle my foot drags on teh ground... so theres not much stretching i could do.

That's why it's always important to stretch before you drive. :D

i remember sho.gun told me once during our senior year in HS that if u keep ur wallet in ur back pocket, eventually over time, ur hip will like be higher than the other... or somethin like that. that sho.gun.... so wise.

You prolly need to take a trip to the chiro for an adjustment. Mine has a massuesse (sp?) that gives shiatsu massage before the treatment. I come out feeling gooooooodd!!

yeah, i always take my wallet out of my pocket if i'm going to be driving more than 3 or 4 hours. otherwise, i end up with a sore butt and a kinked-up lower back.
but i don't like carrying my wallet in my front pocket....it's too bulky and it doesn't fit with my cell phone and keys
