From what I've read, it's basically more of the same from the first game. The graphics are great, and it's nicely story driven. However, voice acting is bad.

I'm not sure if I want to get this since I played the first and liked it, but I'm not sure I want more of the same.

Nothing too substatial at the moment. The gameplay has improved a little. More attack moves. This makes fighting a little more complex. But the monsters are harder to kill so it's definitely a little more challenging. There are "helper" characters that come to your aid in certain scenes. There is the gifting - not really sure how important tht is to gameplay yet. It seems a little pointless at the moment. Graphics are great, a vast improvement over the first. Nice story too.

I wanted more of the same so it's a good game for me.
