This is being posted in the DEALS forum because the original message that all of us fell for-- erm, went in on -- was here as well.

I just got this email from RhinoPoint.. all I can say is they have some truly incompetant management (and what is the deal with "funding almost in place"?!?!)

Dear Justin,
We would like to make you aware of some issues
that we have been dealing with in recent weeks.
Our ability to pay our members in a timely fashion
has been hampered by many things some being bank
issues, some being financial issues as well as
many others. This is not an attempt to offer more
excuses just a fact of what has kept us from doing
business in the manner we would like. We have
financial backing that is almost in place and we
intend to pay ALL CREDITS DUE TO OUR MEMBERS in as
quick a timeframe as we can and this email message
is to inform you of this. We can not give a specific
date as to when this will occur but it will be as
soon as is possible given our circumstance. We know
this has been frustrating for you, and are very sorry
for the inconvenience and frustration it has caused.
We look forward to serving you in the manner in which
we envisioned when we started rhinoPoint.

Thank you for patience in this matter,
rhinoPoint Member Services

I got that same form letter too. More excuses..... I wonder what they did with the funds they collected initially with the setup fees.

Isn't there a 90-day complaint limitation period for customer-initiated complaints to get a refund on a charged item?

More BS to give them time to attract more victims then take their earnings and flee the country.

That's another thing. I fired off an email asking why, with all their financial and banking problems, are they still accepting new members? You'd think with all their problems, they'd suspend taking in new members until they can get it straightened out with the current members but noooooooo....

...says they "intend" to pay all due credits. I "intend" on someday nailing Katie Holmes. It doesn't mean it's going to happen.

I know she's young, but WOW... she's money.

"...But it's alright, because you've got gooooooood intentions!" a quote from the CEO of FlandCrest Enterprises.

(Still wanting to get busy with Katie Holmes) Dave.
