Might it be like the Autovantage, which requires you to have an existing membership in order to cash in the rebates? Notice, it is a rebate...I guess there's you answer. I suppose, though, you save 104 in the process. I dunno, I'm sittin' this one out.

Most of these types of deals don't work if you cancel within the trial period.

You get coupons for 'rebates' good AFTER you pay your membership (96$) The rebate coupons are only good at certian gas stations, and only for like 5.00 each (and you can only use then in certian months). Over all, this is a pretty bad deal that I fell for, kind like those "travel clubs". Phhhtt..

Hehe.. I've seen worse. My parents used to always fall for those "You've won a prize valued at over 400$... to claim your prize, drive out in the middle of BFE and view some stoopid time share!" contests... usually ended up with something like an inflateable "raft" (pool toy) or "free" airline tickets (minimum 3 night stay in our krappiest hotel at 250.00 a night)... to this day I can't believe people still fall for those things... oopppsss I guess I just did http://www.gotapex.com/ubb/smile.gif
