I don't want to get off on a rant here, but...
Martha Burke is a nut-ball. She's the frontman (frontwoman) of this quest to get Augusta National, the country club that hosts the Masters tournamant each year, to include women in their membership.
First, Augusta is a private club. Private.
Second, the members at Augusta have considered accepting a lady-member... but have yet to accetpt one. This club is so exclusive, that there are just more than 200 members... of one of the most famous golf courses in the world (if not THEE most famous). And they're sure a hell not going cave to the pressure of a women's group on this. They may accept a lady-member at sometime... but this is not the way it will get done (pardon the crude language of that last sentence).
Lastly, women play at the course. It doensn't exlcude lady golfers from playing. It simply has no female members of the club.
"Earth to the NCWO... get over it and pick a better battle to fight." There are surely enough of them.
Dave.
