Internet Outage

At 10PM the Internet went out in the Midwest, not all locations. I looked at ITR and saw the nation was having a routing problem.

ITR (http://scatcat.fhsu.edu/~becarlson/itr/Internet%20Traffic%20Report.htm) @ 10-11 Wed Evening.

the Educational Backbone I am on displayed this:GreatPlains Network (http://fre-ks.greatplains.net/mrtg/I1/i1-total.r.greatplains.net.i1.html) look at the 10PM drop. Lots of dropped packets. Terrorist, Backbone Outage, Worldcom dead?

I was wondering what went down, did anyone else experience any problems?

some hillbilly from down south was wandering around. he saw one of them wire thingies. since he was curious about it, he got out his shotgun and blasted it down.... maybe that's why.
