haha. warcraft 3 is pretty sweet. but some of my files keep getting courupt. i have to uninstall then reinstall for some stupid reason.

eh... in fact im at school now... and i dont like warcraft 3... the max units of 90 is lame and the damage ratios are just outta sinc... i think its a lot funner to send in 50 marines than 50 footmen...

not to mention the dialogues are TOO humorous... too many cliches...

Yeah i agree. WC3 isn't so much fun to play. I don't like the the wa they carried out the whole "hero" concept.

Alright, the main point in wc3 was to make you use more strategy then mass attack. Starcraft was all about who could get most upgrade and most units, then adding different lil tricks like the enginering bay(units attack highest hit point unit first automaticly if you didnt know). Warcraft3 is based on micromanagement! You have to control your units carefully with the use of your hero as well. A good player uses three heros, and mixes his army with a little of this and a little of that, not all footmen. The 90 supply is there for a reason, more would just make the game worse I think.

Warcraft 3 takes alot of strategy, more than starcraft..trust me, im in x clan, the best starcraft clan there ever was. Many are saying wc3 is alot harder to play because you actually have to watch the battles closely, using your heros spells, sending healers, using focus fire, etc.

I love starcraft, but hearing people say they dont like wc is insane. I know starcraft 2 will be better, but please...wc3 rules hands down..if you know how to play :bigmouth:

eh... starcraft 2 will be better, but i liked warcraft 2 better than warcraft 3... bc i dont like the hero idea at all... :shrug:

Nah, WC3 failed to retain my attention too long. Played it for about 1 week and haven't touched it since. I'm just not impressed by it. Good concept, poor execution.
I like bigger battles, the whole upkeep concept sucks too. They should allow you to disable that. I like long hard fought battles. WC3 doesn't provide me with that.

Long battles? I played a 2v2 game for 2 and a half hours....is that long enough? They also have 3v3, 4v4, 6v6, ffa 12 way? No reason to complain about long battles. Even a 1v1 can last long, if you and your opponent are good, it might last a few hours on a big map. I lost cause my team mate didnt expand ..*runs to a corner and crys* 2 hours gone:bawl:

What do you mean not executed well? I dont understand, reiterate if u could. Warcraft 3 is a great game, just got to play good people. If your good, there will be a short battle, or a long battle, depends on your play style and strategy that you use against each race. Warcraft is very well balanced, except for the orcs...I hate em *sharpens his sword* Long live humans! The underdog will rule again..

Yeah i guess you play forever. But still, I find it irritating that I can't produced backup armies while fighting a battle.

Design wise its great. I love the minor details such as day and night effects and its advantages. The CPU AI is lacking. Its not realistic. There's no strategy. They all play the same way. The Hero concept was also a great design idea. It didn't execute because the game is too dependant on them. They are far too strong and a pain to control. They are forgetting the essense of what a true RTS is. They have going too much into detail developing the RPG aspect of it. That's what bores me. If I wanted to play an RPG, i'd go and play an RPG. When I want to play a RTS, I want massive carnage plain and simple. None of this player development crap.

In essence, I think the whole hero thing is great! Its not easy to control them I know, leveling can be a pain sometimes, but they are the winners and loozers of the war. Dont have a hero for a battle, you might be dead meatz.

Suggestion, keep playing it, everyone in x clan didnt like it at first, then everyone now is getting into it...they find it a bit more..challenging :P
