whitak's sd trip...2nd chance for those that lamed out first try

whitak's first night here was very cool. i showed up a tad late, but it's sd so we're casual, right?

we got to having some brews at the sunshine company about 8p or so. well, whitak had a coke (who woulda known he doesn't drink? oh well, we dealt with it).

so we kicked it ol' schoo and shot that schiznit over our beverages. the scene was plenny nice...something for everyone. then we got to shootin some stick and just mellowed. it was good to catch what other parts of the country are all about.

i think he may like it here. we're talking...serious liking.

anyhow, we're talking about getting together again tomorrow night (thurs night) again for some downtown action. hopefully more peeps can show up and make this a night to remember for this cross-country trekker. stay tuned for deets.

sd is supposed to be one of the friendlier places in the country. let's show him some of that.

Um...like the Gas Lamp Quarter is fairly large...and most places close at 2am, so I dont know why the hell you are going to be doing at 4am?!?

I will see if I can make some time tonight, but who knows. BTW, why not go out in PB...you know like PB bar and grill or Moondoggies. More women than the gas lamp, at least in my experience.

they prolly wanted to do something chill. PB aint exactly chill. If you get to PB after 10:30pm, expect to wait for atleast an half an hour to get into the "cool" places.

THere are plenty of places in PB to just kind of chill. Hennesey's and the like. Plus on a weekday, PB doesnt have that much of a line. I can only think of a couple of times where I have had to wait for PB bar and grill and I have never waited for Moondoggies, its just a hassle to get a table.

welp, we started off well. at least eSDee and whitak did. they started out about 4p without my lame butt. i hadda do mundane things like...pay my rent and send off my ebay goods. i met them about 8p at maloney's. then we headed out a few blocks up and down downtown. then esdee hadda bail for a good cause about 10p. i took our man whitak out to seaport village to catch some peeps at the yachts and stuff. then back to maloney's to chill (we were pretty worked from the walk). so we kicked it ol' schoo and talked about our plans n schitt.

you guys that didn't make it out...you guys missed out, holmes. we checked out some action all up an' down the boulevard, yo! homey's all phat on the scene! now he's gonna spread the word all michigan-style and bust the peeps out this way for the mad invasion!

as for me an' esdee, we got the scoup on the phat cat from detroit! suckas!
