Just released as of Sept 5, 2002.

New features

* AIM Expressions - somewhat like skins
* Typing Indicator - same like on MSN and some other services. shows when someone is responding to your messages.

the typing indicator has been there for some time on the mac version(possibly PC version too) and is also available in iChat. They need to use the iChat smileys as the default smileys. They have an aquafied look to them that is pretty nice looking.

i went back tot he pervious version 5.0 sucks cause aim+ wont work with it. damn aol

i was also wondering what happened to them because they have been down for a couple weeks :(

Aah, I need the old version back. Anyone know of a place to redownload the old version? AIM+ doesn't work =/

Personally, I'm still waiting on Trillian version 1.0. It's going to be the greatest thing ever. All of you AIM+ users are going to look foolish when that puppy comes out! :P

there has been some websites taht is saying Aim+ has spyware, but ad-ware never caught ne from it, they said u need to have version 2.2 build 65 just a heads up =)

grrrr...how come aim doesnt work:
The instruction at "0x01248dd4" refrenced memory at "0x00000002". the memory could not be "read"

is that the version with spyware? at any rate, www.big-o-software.com is back up. They seem to still be debating whether or not to move forward with the development of AIM+ for AIM4 or move on to AIM5.

version 2.2.1 build 65 doesn't have spyware

the older versions does have spyware, thats what some websites have been saying.

so using the latest one that is on the website will be fine :thumbup:
