Dear Audiogalaxy User,

Audiogalaxy is pleased to announce the launch
of Rhapsody, our new on-demand music service
which gives you unlimited access to over
17,000 albums from more than 7,000 artists.

Hmmmm...I just got this email today. Only 9.95 per month for unlimited access (yet they pay royalties to artists, etc). I wonder how long this will last.

Kazaa lite works so well these days that i wonder why people are messing with those other crappy P2P programs like winMX. I used to use winMX, because it was add free and it used to connect to some pretty good servers besides the main network, but now it's pretty shiety. With Kazaalite.. there no ads or banners and lately there have been around 1.5 - 2 million people online all the time..
I never tried audio galaxy, or rhapsody, but why would you pay for a p2p program??
There is another program called direct connect which uses IRC servers. It look like it has potential...

There is another program called direct connect which uses IRC servers. It look like it has potential... audiogalaxy wasn't always a paid service, and it had more rare stuff than kazaa/grokster/whatever. of course the new AG doesn't look so hot, on top of being a paid service. however, it may ease the guilt of some of the "borrowers" of music.
