Noticed it was available, installed try to use and...

IT DOESNT PLAY WINDOWS MEDIA VIDEO. Way to go microsoft. Your player doesnt play your own proprietary format, simply stunning.

Mine works fine. No problems with tons of files-most from ol' adcritic Maybe it's your codec?

I'm loving MP9b

Could be the bitrate and codec.

After your reading this post, I went through my library, and I did find a few mpg clips (Triumph TICD) that played under WMP v8 that come up as unsupported formats in WMP9. I think it had to do with unusual bitrates and windows choosing to use its own codecs instead of the codecs I installed from the "Ultimate DIVX" pack.

How's the DRM? I'm not touching this thing until I figure out what the DRM will do to my computer...

Saw the update but don't wanna get it... I'll wait for the real version and even that has bug. :D
