Are they christian contemporary or alternative?

Unfortunately, the only contemporary or alternative I've gotten into is either Crystal Lewis or DC Talk. I prefer Gospel or Urban Praise. I know that's bad cause a lot of my friends say there's a LOT of good music out there that I'm missing.

eh - christian contemporary/alternative has gone down the drain past couple years....

Everyone's doing the whole "worship remixes" and it's getting old - no good new songs anymore. :(

as for something possibly more your direction - anyone pick up the new Grits cd - Art Of Translation? it's pretty cool cd...definitely not up to par with Grammatical Revolution, but I wasn't expecting that....
the songs I don't like are Tennessee bwoys (although it's cool that they're gonna get airplay during Titan's games with this song), Be Mine, and Video Girl...

all the other songs, I really like.

Is the "Grits" rap?

Speaking of Christian rap...I've been curious of "The Cross Movement" are they tight?? Can you recommend any other good Christian rap artists?
