Too expensive for the average home consumer. Pros may find a use for it, but I doubt it.

Nice review. I just came across a similar product that seems better to me. It's the archos 20gb mp3 player multimedia photo. It has a smaller HD, but like the digibin can read CF and SM flash memory but also has has a color screen for viewing photos and the ability to play mp3s. Think its availble with a USB 2.0 connection also. Has anyone seen this?

Great review. This device is actually helpful to pro and semi-pro photographers. My camera takes 6MP pictures and I need every single one of those dots. Solutions like this help me make the camera useful at a reasonable cost.

I do have a question though... I was looking at the internal shot of the Digibin. How is the drive mounted onto the PCB? Is it just simple screws or do they use rivets, or something else that would prevent you from swapping the drive?
