So yeah, now I am a college student. I'm attending El Camino Community College, and am currently taking 2 classes, Math 10b (pre-Pre-Algebra{Also affectionately known as "Stoopid Person Math"}) and Sig10 which is American Sign Language.

I've gone to two of the Sign Language Class' and they are so fun. My Math class does not state until October 28 (would have helped to read my class schedule BEFORE I showed up at the class )

So yeah, everyone in my life has seemed real intrested that I've gone back to school, so I figured that I would let you people know, that I'm now on my way to bettering myself, and you :D

I remember taking that class.

I slept through it, never did the homework, then got the highest grade on the final. A perfect. :P

Don't worry...I'm in the same boat. My counselor keeps harping on me to take the math assessment test and start going through the "path" beginning with probably arithmatic. Math is my worst subject.

and Sig10 which is American Sign Language.

A friend of mines mother is certified in sign language or something like that. It's pretty cool stuff. She's not mute or deaf or anything, I guess she just translates for people sometimes.

thanks ya'll

Math is my worst subject also. But  I need it to graduate so I'll suffer....

Sign Language is just because I wanted to learn something different.
One bad thing (Math) One good thing (Sign Language)

It's like a reqard for myself :D

Sign language is universal yes?? I always wanted to learn but alas all I know is one *ahem* that seems to be universal...at least in North America. :P

Why aren't you taking more than 2 classes? Work also?

Sign Language is NOT universal. I am taking American Sign Language. There are also English Sign language, French Sign Language, Spanish, Brazillian, Austrilian, etc. etc. so it's localized, even though there are some signs that are derived from other "Languages"

and I'm only taking two classes because I work full time, so I'm taking classes at night, and I didn't want to over do it my first time. I know my limits and I don't want to push them, so i'm going at my pace which seems to be working for me. :)
