From the games page, but I'll post here because I want to hear speculation!
At the Tokyo Game Show, Blizzard will be announcing its next product release. No other details have been given and no one has any ideas. What do you guys think?
I'd say it's an Expansion Pack to Warcraft 3. I think World of Warcraft was already officially announced. I seriously doubt they would announce a brand new product.
Likely its the expansion pack to Warcraft 3.
speculation mode: Starcraft 2? Its too soon for Diablo 3. Something new?

Yeah, but didn't they announce it already? This sounds like another new game.
From Blues News:
Blizzard Entertainment sends word that their next product announcement will take place Friday, September 20 during this year's Tokyo Game Show. There are no further details about the planned announcement other that it will involve back-to-back press conferences, but this should provide fuel for some interesting speculation, since the TGS is primarily focused on console games, though Blizzard has shown off PC offerings at the show in the past.
From avault:
Blizzard Entertainment on Monday announced that they would be making their next product announcement at the Tokyo Game Show. Watch for the news to hit the wires on Friday - and let the speculation begin.
From Shacknews:
Blizzard sent out a letter to members of the press this evening announcing that on Friday, September 20th at 9:00 AM at the Tokyo Game Show, they will be announcing their next product. There's not much more to go on besides word that a second press conference will immediately follow (possibly allowing members of the press to speak with the developers). So let the rampant speculation begin! It's at TGS, so could this be a console-only product? Is it a new Diablo? The return of StarCraft? The inevitable WarCraft III add-on? Or could it be...something entirely new??
From gamespy:
Blizzard revealed that it will hold a press conference at the Tokyo Game Show on September 20 to announce a new game. Whether or not this new game will be a PC game based on an existing Blizzard franchise or a whole new property was not disclosed, though it would a bit bizarre to announce a PC game at a console focused event like TGS (on the other hand, Blizzard has been one of the few companies to promote PC games at this particular show, so who knows?). We’ll just have to speculate on what it will be until TGS.

You mean 2?
I only wish. I can only imagine Starcraft with the UT 2003 graphics. Reflections off siege tanks and carriers. Fully rendered environments. Colored lighting. Particle explosions.
Unfortunately, I doubt it. The easy answer is a Warcraft 3 expansion, which sucks.
I would love to see a new title that's not starcraft, warcraft, or diablo, though.

Hmmm...maybe it's a totally new line...hmmmm
I'll say it's going to be a combination of Diablo and Warcraft and they'll name it ... *drum roll* WitchCraft!!!:P
Seriously it just might be an expansion to WC3.

Damn, SC2 would be sweet, but I am a big fan of Blizzard. It seems like anything they make is great. :)

well, since I live 18 min from Tokyo, I'll head in there next Friday to check it out if I can. I'll let you peeps know how it is. Chances are it'll be posted on some news thing before I can post what game it is. In any case, I'll let all of you know what Blizzard's secret new game is.

aaaaaaah freak. The "Tokyo Game show" will actually be in Chiba (next prefecture). It'll take me about 20 min longer to get there. this is just like "Tokyo Disneyland" which is also in Chiba, not Tokyo

double whammy.
It spans Friday-Sunday. Friday (20th) is press only though so I guess I can't actually see them announce it. Maybe i'll go on Sat and Sunday to game. Its only about 10 bucks for both days.

keep doubting, blizzard has made games `that are controled easy and provide decent graphics, hell i can paly starcraft on any graphics card made in the last 7 years or later even. while war3 has brought out bigger and badde graphics i dont see starcraft 2 being a HUGE display of ingame graphics, as long as thi=ose types of graphics require high end equipment to run it.

Thanks Tse How. I look forward to hearing from you, though I think we might get it off the presses faster than you can get the scoop (no offense).
As for graphics, you're right. Whenever a Starcraft 2 will come out, it will have antiquated graphics. I feel like Blizzard goes all out on graphics at the beginning, but since they always ALWAYS take so long, the graphics get outdated by release.

i dont think its that the graphics are out dated by the time they finally get the product out, i think they try to make the game work on almost any semi-current system.
