Did you see JFK get shot?

I have a little project that I have for one of my classes. I'm supposed to talk to another individual that witnessed the shooting of JFK. If you did see this event, please tell me your thoughts on it. Where were you? What images do you remember? How did the media play on it? etc... Any help would be appreciated.

was I in Dallas? No, do I remember when it happened? Yes. I remember that my father was home from work with about 130 stitches in his ankle that he got from trying to chop a tree down in our backyard the weekend before (he missed with the axe and got his leg)..I was home,loaded down with a pretty bad case of mumps..I was sitting in the den with him playing a game of cards and being awfully whiny..my mom had worked the night shift at the hospital and had barely gotten any sleep that day because I was sick as hell with a fever etc..she had the radio on in the bedroom, and she came running out saying..Georgio turn on the television!!!! I remember seeing my dad hobble over the the tv and turn it on just as walter cronkite was saying..PRESIDENT KENNEDY is DEAD..My dad grabbed his chest and fell backwards into a chair..then started sobbing...my mom was hysterical,ranting and crying,and saying the Rosary..she told me to pray for President Kennedy... I seriously thought the world was going to end that day,watching my mother light every freakin holy candle in the house (and believe me there were TONS)..My best friend Gina Marzetti had seen my sister outside and told her she was mad because Kennedy got shot and she thought her dad would be out of a job (he was secret service assigned to Midtown Manhattan and used to cover Jackie Kennedy's motorcade when she would come into town)..and if he lost his job their family could not go to colorado for christmas to go skiing...she's lucky my sister didn't clock her but good for being such a snobbish bitch...That night, all my sisters and brothers were told that Kennedy being shot was going to mean the United States would be under attack..and that if and when the time came for THE BIG ONE to drop, to make sure they spent their final moments praying the rosary...I never saw my dad drink anything but wine until that night..between him and my uncles (whom all gathered at our house)..they killed off two bottles of whiskey. I remember watching the funeral on TV..and wondering if Jackie Kennedy had sore feet from walking in her high heeled shoes..
Oh yeh, and to be specific..I do remember seeing Jack Ruby shoot Lee Harvey Oswald...I thought Ruby was a cop at the time. It was all so wierd. Heavy duty stuff for a nine year old.
