Hands down, MYST. The most excrutiating 24hrs i've ever spent playing a game.

Haha... I remember trying to play that game a while ago. The whole time I was thinking, "THIS is the #1 selling game? WHY?!?"

I think the worst game I completed was Phantasmagoria.

See, when the game is bad I don't actually continue to play it =)

Hitman. Finishing this game was like pulling teeth. The difficulty was ridiculous. Each level took a week. The game idea was so amazingly cool and so compelling, that I played in the hopes it would get better, like how Jedi Knight 2 got better. It never did.

Oh speaking of Jedi Knight 2...if a game is bad and I still feel like finishing it, I use cheat codes. :D

oh and games I finish that have bad endings? There are so many in that category but I can't remember any...can you guys?

Yah JDII was getting on my nerves. I finished it and was so disappointed at the end. I beat it by crushing him under the pillar. Who knew:shrug:

I've gone back only to spawn NPC in open areas in the single player scenarios and slice and dice my way though.

My disappointing ender was Scamble (part of Konamis Greatest Hits) when I hit that darn pod/base thing and it justs starts over again.

I hear you guys about Myst. Solve an inane puzzle and watch a quicktime play. Repeat ad nauseam.

I installed Myst III, looked around the room, felt the onset of motion sickness :puke: , and promptly listed it on ebay. I still don't understand what all the fuss is about.

As far as completing a game, "Jazz and Faust" had beautiful backdrops, but the characters and the story were awful. :|

Not the worst...but close...

Command and Conquer Renegade.

I played and really enjoyed the multiplayer demo, so I bought the game when it came out...

The single player game : boring ambush after boring ambush. Also, the dude sounds dumb when he says the commando quips, not like the original C&C commando "I got a present for ya!"

The multiplayer game : watch as your teammate blows up or steals the tank you saved up for, then mindlessly runs you over with it on their way to his uncoordinated, meat-grinder death.
