I don't know how easy it is to build a boat but after my friends dad got out of college he spent i think about a year or two building a really nice yacht on the beach. He then sold it for about 300,000 dollars and used it to buy a house. Bought a hosue in LA, value sky rocketed over the years, just kept selling his houses and buying new ones when he moved, no need to make a monthly check to pay for any houses, I thought it was an awesome idea.
