what is a crunchy?

ok, so i'm sitting here watching a lil real world, and i see a commercial for snickers crunchers...

and it goes..."caramel, peanuts, chocolate, and crunchies "

so my question is...what the hell is a crunchy? i know what caramel is and how to make caramel, i know peanuts, i know chocolate...but what the hell is a crunchy? it's a mystery!

i know this, they've long existed in previous things such as nestle crunch...but it just seems abnormal

When I read the title I thought you were asking about crunchy or granolaly means in slang. I was thinking about as in a tree hugger, dead head, or hippie.

But to answer the actual question, it probably means rice krispies, which is copyrighted, so they have to call it a crunchy.
