I had a shipment being sent to my office via FedEx 2 day. Keep in mind these are high value packages. The idiot driver thought it would be a good idea to let another person in the office building sign for my packages. The driver left a notice on my door stating they could not just leave the packages because of their high value. So... My question is: If they were high value, why would they let a complete stranger sign for them? I don't know the people in the other suite. For all I know, they could've looted my packages. I guess I'll find out tomorrow morning when I try to claim my boxes.

This is the thing. If the boxes come up missing and I have to place an insurance claim, I lose out on the profits (~40%) I was going to make. So essentially, all my work is for $0. And I bought these on closeout so I can't order more.

damn, that sucks so much. hopefully, the people in the other suite are somewhat honest and don't end up screwing you over completely.

don't even get me started on reasons why i think fedex is stupid :2far:

Get this...

I work at officemax, where a manager has to sign for the packages. This huge, buff, built...woman...brings the package to the front. I had seen her truck pull up, so I had already called a manager. When she walked in I nicely told her "We can't sign for that, a manager is on his way up here right now." She completely went off on me! "This is bullsh*t! I know why the other driver hates this route!"

Needless to say my manager heard it and gave her the nastiest look in the world. I so felt like jumping her @$$ in the parking lot...

See what steroid abuse does! I hope you manager reported the incident, and asked that insane delivery person not be sent there any more.

Yeah, he reported it. He also told me that I couldn't take her....it would need three of us. She was BUFF.

Sure you can... it's a parking lot. Park on her! Then kick her in the head while she is pinned by the tire.

i hate fedex with a passion. with UPS, they rarely if ever let a package sit in their wherehouse because its not due for delivery. Fedex though will deliver the package after it has sat in the wherehouse long enough to meet the 4 days in the 3-4 day delivery.

i just had 2 boxes from newegg come to me. they were fedexed and marked for AM delivery. I got them after 3 PM EST. They were shipped the same day as well, but one was a day later than the other.

I prefer UPS so much more. I hate fedex and refuse to ship with them unless I need to. Plus they have horrid tracking that updates every few hours not live tracking like UPS. FedEx tracking also doesnt order the changes correctly either.

Haha, I've seen women who can benchpress small SUVs... that strategy might not work.

Haha, one of my friends was strong armed into dancing with this one girl that was 6'1" and had 18" biceps (she was wearing a sleeveless shirt). Afterwards, he said, "How do you say no to a girl like that?"

:heh:

UPS is evil. i wanted to give my old computer to my best friend in Louisiana, and since i didn't trust the airlines, i shipped UPS. the boxes arrived looking like they were thrown off the truck, and then used as a soccer ball!! and i'm still having fights with the insurance company that claims i didn't package it properly (ummm...i didn't know that they'd throw around a computer!) so yeah, i'm not terribly fond of the UPS people...

The insurance company for UPS claiming you didn't package your shipment properly? Geez... That NEVER happens. It seems like that's the first thing they do for every claim.

i hate both ups and fedex. practically every package that comes via ups is thrown out of the door and left without being signed for even if sig is required. its airborne express for me now, i love thier service, especially back in the days of free outpost.com next day shipping

Well, that part of the problem is generaly taken care of durring the procees of parking the car. The ability to benchpress a car assumes a totaly intact body with no broken bones. Please also note that modern vehicals are all equipped with forward AND reverse gears. Using forward and reverse gears while parking the car will assure that the pinned person is definately not in the apropriate shape to bench press the car.

It's all about proper planning and undestanding your objectives.:dodgy:

"Fedex is retarded"
"UPS is retareded"
"USPS is retarded"

I'm so tired of hearing people complain about carrier services. Yeah they suck, but they all suck, for everyone, so there is no need to broadcast it to anyone but their customer service. We all know.
