yeah! i'm psyched.
as many of you know, i've basically been sitting on my ass since july 11, when accenture laid me off. now don't get me wrong....it's not that i didn't enjoy being unemployed. i have had a very good time. but lately i've been getting the feeling that i needed to get back to work.
so i sat down with a guy i work with in lansing (he owns a lobbying/government relations/information distribution firm) and it looks like his partner in the business is leaving. so he needs someone to write their environmental news bulletin and do other writing/desktop publishing/marketing stuff.
so hopefully, around the end of october or the beginning of november, i'll be starting to work for him. the timing is great for me because i'm leaving to visit the east coast next week and will probably be gone 2 weeks, then i'm going to chicago for most of a week, then i've got to do law school apps, and i'm hoping to get all that done by the end of october. so it's great...and i'm happy :D
